Apple Cider Vinegar

  • Add 1 teaspoon of organic apple cider vinegar in a glass of water.

Red onions are useful in controlling high cholesterol. It can  help reducing bad cholesterol and increase good cholesterol levels which reduces the risk of having heart disease.

  • Combine one teaspoon each of honey and onion juice and drink it once everyday.

Coconut oil is an effective home remedy for high cholesterol, even if contains saturated fat. Lauric acid present in coconut oil is helpful to increase HDL.

  • You can use 1-2 tablespoons of coconut oil everyday in cooking. Always use organic coconut oil instead of refined oil.

  • Approximately 3 grams of soluble fiber present in one cup of cooked oatmeal.
